They look ok, but I don't know if they're that worth it (Waterloo somehow tends to be more expensive), but the american one seems to make a nice little diorama: http://www.flickr.com/photos/toysoldierscollector/7740080146/ For one sprue maybe, but a full box?
I think more riding poses would have been better, in the cav set.
